What we do
Kalka is a small collective working across four practices. Tattoos drawn by hand, paintings made in the studio, merchandise we design ourselves, and music made in the family. Whatever the medium, the approach is the same : slow, considered, and made with care.
Meet the artists
Himanshu, aka Kalidas
Started tattooing 20 years ago in a small village in the Himalayas. Inspired by the Ganges and the Yogic scene, opened the studio in 2014.

Pankaj / Boom Shiva
Started as an apprentice, is now working as a Resident Artist and piercer at Kalka, with 10 years of experience.
Shiven Dhami
A talented 10-year old artist and musician, currently learning Indian Classical music and harmonium; actively helps his family at the studio

Sudhanshu / Sid
A professional animator, started apprenticeship under Kalidas, his brother. An artist, mentor, and piercer with over 15 years of experience.
Bobby
Another member of the Kalka family, he is managing the studio and also works as a designer and a photographer.
